Dry Prawns Fry / Unakka Chemmeen Ulathiyathu ഉണക്ക ചെമ്മീൻ ഫ്രൈ

Ingredients
Dry Prawns ( Unakka chemmeen ) – 1 cup
Small onion – ½ cup
Garlic 2 cloves (cut into small pieces)
Kashmiri chill powder – ½ tbsp.
Turmeric powder – ½ tbsp.
Grated coconut – ¾ cup
Curry leaves – few
Oil – 4 tbsp.
Salt

Method:
Remove the head and tail of dried prawns. Wash it and keep it ready.
Heat oil in a pan and add crushed small onion, garlic and curry leaves.
When onion becomes soft add the dried prawns and mix well.
Add salt only if needed as the dried prawns are usually salted, cook it for 6_8 mints.
Once it cooks add turmeric, kashmiri chili powder and mixes well in low flame.
Add grated coconut and mix well so that it’s coated well with the masala. Check salt if needed add little.
Serve it with rice
